Dr. Noel Diaz
Dr. Noel Diaz is originally from Placetas, Cuba. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of Villa Clara and completed his residency training at Arnaldo Milian University Hospital. He has interest in both Family and legal Medicine.
Dr. Diaz has over twenty (20) years of experience as a General Practitioner. He has worked in Cuba, Grenada, Venezuela and Belize. He joined Spice Isle Imaging Centre Inc (SIIC) in July 2017.
Dr. Rafael Rojas
Dr. Rojas was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and obtained his medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela in 1975. He also acquired his master’s degree in Pediatrics and Puericulture from the Central University of Venezuela.
Between the period 1981 - 1983, he completed his training with fellowships at Georgetown University of USA in Clinical Immunology. Following his fellowship training, he returned to the Children’s hospital (J.M de los Rios) in Caracas, Venezuela where he worked for 25 years in the department of Immunology and Allergy.
Dr. Rojas has thirty-five (35) years’ experience in clinical immunology and allergy treatments.
DR. Peter Kowlessar
Dr. Kowlessar is a consultant Neurosurgeon, Neurologist to establish a Specialist Clinic at Spice Isle Imaging Centre Inc.
He practices as a specialist in Neurosurgery and Neurology for both the adult and Pediatric populations. With respect to community-based Neurology, this includes the area of headache, epilepsy, movement disorder, dementia, pain management, and cerebrovascular disease.
Neurosurgery encompasses the diagnosis and surgical management of disorders of the nervous system (inclusive of the brain spinal cord, peripheral nerve, and the coverings).
His Neurosurgical practice includes a concentrated focus on minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques. Mr. Kowlessar is committed to providing comprehensive Neurosurgery and Neurology care with compassion and dignity to patients and families here in Grenada.
He possesses 26 years post graduate medical experience and continues to function as an Independent Consultant for the past 15 years post-accreditation, in the specialties of Neurosurgery and Neurology. This is for both the adult and pediatric population.
His competency in general Neurology has been through supervised training, self-directed learning, experience, and practice focusing in the areas of epilepsy, headache, dementia, cerebrovascular disease, pain management, and movement disorders.
The Intercollegiate Board of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, UK, accredited me with the FRCS (Neuro Surg) diploma in Neurosurgery in 2004. During specialist training, I had extended periods of training in pediatric neurosurgery and spinal neurosurgery, as enfolded fellowships. My qualifications are BSc, MBBS (UWI), FRCS (Ed), FRCS (Neuro Surg). I am registered as a Specialist in the fields of Neurosurgery and Neurology under the provisions of the Grenada Medical and Dental Council.
Dr. Alexis Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriquez is an established and highly skilled physician with over 25 years of experience in Family Medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez was born in Camaguey, Cuba. He obtained his medical degree at Carlos J. Finlay University of Medical Sciences Camaguey Cuba in 1991. His medical residency was done at the same University between the period 1992 and 1995. He acquired a diploma in ophthalmology in 2006.
Dr. Dionais Martinez
Dr. Martinez was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. He received his medical degree at Ernsesto “Che” Guevana de la Serna University of Medical Sciences, Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1996. He worked in Cuba as a General Practitioner from 1996 to 2002 and became a consultant in Gynecology and Obstetric in 2002. He then moved to Guatemala to work as a Gynecologist for a period of two (2) years, that is, 2007 to 2009. He also worked at the General Hospital in Grenada between the period 2014 to 2018. He recently opened his Independent practice at Spice Isle Imaging Centre, offering consultancy and specialist care in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Dr. Martinez currently has over seventeen (17) years of experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and in totality, 23 years in the medical field.
